BAMBINI MARATHON RULE BOOK

Race: Tropic Bambini marathon

Time and date of the event: Saturday, 24.5.2025. at 17:00 am.

To register a child for the Tropic Bambini Marathon, you must confirm that you agree with the following rules. The rules are common for events of this type and apply to everyone, so please read them carefully.

All parents / guardians who register their children to take part in the race accept that the children run under the responsibility of their parents, and that they are familiar with the rules of the race that they will follow. By registering for the race, the parent / guardian waives the possibility of transferring responsibility to the race organizer and confirms the satisfactory health condition of the child and the readiness to finish this short race.

REGISTRATION

• The right to participate have children up to 8 years of age who are considered by the parent / guardian to be able to run a section of 450 meters.
• Registration is complete by filling out the registration form and paying the entry fee. The entry fee can be paid until the date specified on the website or until the race capacity is full. Registration for the race is not valid only by registration or only by payment.
• The number of participants is limited to 500 children for whom registration and payment of the entry fee has been made.
• Registration on the day of the race is possible no later than 9:00 am if the limit of 500 participants is not reached.
• Entry fees can be paid by the date listed on the page or on the day of the race if the limit of 500 participants has not been reached.

GETTING NUMBERS

• The numbers are picked up at the place and time listed on the race website.
• Raising numbers on the day of the race is possible no later than 9:00 am.
• If the parent / guardian is not able to pick up the start number for their child, the other person can do so for him / her by showing a confirmation e-mail that the parent / guardian received after the payment was made.

TIME LIMIT

• The limit for finishing the race is 30 minutes.
• After the time limit expires, traffic will be opened, and all participants who happen to be on the track after the time limit expires will be asked to finish the race by running or walking on the sidewalk.

RACE

• The Kids' Run race is not competitive. The finisher's medal is awarded to the participation of each child who passes the finish line with a prominent starting number.
• All children will receive a start number to wear during the race. The start number will have a sticker of a certain color that corresponds to the child's age.
• At the start of the race, the children should be arranged based on the color of the sticker assigned to them at the start number.
• Parents / guardians accompanied by the youngest (up to 6 years) can run with a child, with or without a pram. In that case, they are obliged to stand at the end at the start of the race so as not to disturb and endanger the other participants.
• Parents / guardians of children older than 6 years who want to accompany their children are obliged to stay on the sidewalk and leave free space for participants on the road so as not to disturb and endanger other participants.
• After the race, prizes and parties will be organized for all participants.
• The organizer of the event is obliged to provide professional medical assistance in case of need.
• All parents / guardians are obliged to respect the rules of the race, and to respect the participants, wardens, volunteers and staff in charge of organizing the race.

CANCELLATION OF THE RACE PARTICIPATION

• In case of cancellation, the parent / guardian is obliged to inform the organizer as soon as possible.
• In case of cancellation, the entry fee is non-refundable. If the child registered for the race cannot take part, his / her entry fee can be transferred to another child.
• If due to force majeure, which by definition the organizer cannot influence (weather, unforeseen events), the race is canceled, changes in the schedule of events and / or any other change that deviates from the published information, the paid entry fee is not refundable . The parent / guardian is not entitled to compensation and / or a refund. The organizer will allow the alternative event to take place, if possible, on another date, to the extent possible.

USE OF MEDIA MATERIALS 

• By registering for the race, the parent / guardian agrees that the organizer may use photos and videos taken during, before and after the race for their internal needs and the needs of event promotion. All photos, as well as videos and audio recordings taken by the organizers as part of the race are the property of the organizers, and the parent / guardian waives all rights to the same as well as any fees related to the use of these materials.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION 

• The organizer undertakes to protect all personal data collected during the registration for the race.
• The e-mail address will be used for communication purposes related to the race itself or for other races organized by the Run and More Community.
• All other data will be processed exclusively for statistical purposes.
